I am a firm believer that if you push something the size of a watermelon through a small hole, you should get a present for that. And if it takes over 12 hours to do it? A big present.
So as a new Mom, what cool stuff is out there to celebrate your feat? Something Mom worthy? Maybe a rockin’ Sony camera to snap the first smile?
Or this sweet new Ninja Cooking System for fast meals because even new Mamas need to eat. Better yet, get a gift certificate to the newly launched Urban Sitter so you can sleep.
If the baby is not sleeping, try some lullabies or white noise CDs through some sweet Vizio and Polk speakers like these. Then when the kids are finally grown up and out of the house, you can crank them up for some great (I’m free at last!) parties.
You can always deflect and distract with bling because bling is always a good thing. Like these new stackable rings from the Fall 2012 David Yurman Collection.
But hands down, my top “New Mom, Push-Present must-have?” Apple’s new iPad3.
Email fellow Moms with playdate schedules, video chat with Grandma to determine if the baby’s poop is normal, play Words with Friends at the 2am feeding and tweet with fellow Twitter-ers at 4am (because it is daylight somewhere else in the world.)
So print this post out.
Leave it in a conspicuous location for someone to find it.
Repeat.
