I love having a purse organizer insert for bags. It is a recent addition and I cannot believe I waited so long. It makes switching handbags so much easier, let alone just keeping everything organized in the bag. I haven’t had to dig for my keys or phone in weeks!

You can find lots of them all over the web, and on Ebay. I especially like the shop Divide and Conquer on Etsy. I have a small organizer: *about* 9 inches long, 6 inches high and 4 inches wide (including the pockets that I bought myself. As you can (kinda) see, I have my wallet and card organizer (where I keep my shop cards and gift cards). You can see my video about that here. In the outside pockets, I have my keys, cell phone (though not there as I needed my phone to take the pictures), hand sanitizer, tissues, business card holder, hand creme, lip balm and lipstick.

Here is what the organizer looks like in my Hermes 35cm Natural Barenia Birkin. As you can see, there is a lot of room on the outer edges where I could stash an umbrella or sunglasses. Maybe even a light sweater.

Here is what the purse organizer insert for Chanel Classic Jumbo Flap. It’s a tight fit (almost a bit too tight.) But I can close the bag.

Here is what the organizer looks like in my Louis Vuitton Speedy 25 Bag. It is hard to get in but once it is in there, it fits great.

As you can see it is pretty versatile and you can also see how much room (or not much room) you have depending on the size bag you have. You can always get a bigger purse organizer insert or a smaller one, but I find this size to be perfect. It holds everything I need without a lot of extra stuff to lug around. I’d like to carry sunglasses and an umbrella too, but I can always tuck the sunglasses on top on sunny days and tuck an umbrella in a space outside of the organizer in the purse if I have room.

If you carry less, get a smaller purse organizer insert. If you carry more, get a bigger one. But hopefully you can see the size I have and how it might help you decide what size Chanel bag to get, what size Kelly to get or what size Birkin to get.
