March is a tough time to know what to wear. Especially here in New England when you have no idea if it will be 30 degrees or 60 degrees outside. Add to the fact that you are probably sick of wearing neutrals all winter too.

The solution this spring is to think Pink. Bright pink. Bold pink. Hot pink. It keeps the deeper tones that are more suitable for winter, yet is a nod toward its pale pink summer sister.

Find a cardigan or a little blazer in that color and toss over those winter-weight black pants and shirt. Or find a pink skirt and pair with your current black tights and boots. You still keep warm on those colder days, yet the bold and vibrant spring-fling hue catapults you into the next soltice.

This vibrant pink hue is a perfect color for spring sweaters.

Some good buys and finds are:

Forever 21: Cherry Blazer $28

Old Navy: Raspberry Punch Cardigan $23

Gap: Neon Pink Sweater $45

Ann Taylor Loft: A-Line Guava Skirt $50

Gap: Fushia Skinny Jeans $70

JCrew: Neon Pink Blazer $175

  1. I love Gap skinnies. They have totally revamped their style in the past year or two, and now their skinny jeans are my favorites. I stocked up on a few colors for Spring because at the affordable price they can be “one season wonders”. Not sure I will be into bright yellow next year!
