The Pointed Toe Flats trend is the big shoe trend for spring and summer 2014. Yet, whether it is high heels or flats, the pointier the toe, the better for all heel heights.

I especially love the pointy toe look blended with the D’Orsay style. (You pronounce D’Orsay “door-say”). So if you can find a pair of shoes that have both the D’Orsay style and pointy toe, it will be a great in-trend shoe for the season.

Pointed Toe Flat Trend Old Navy

The above pair of shoes from Old Navy does just that. I especially love the shade of nude and the patent, which makes it even more spring and summer worthy. Even better, they retail for just $15. (You could even get them for less with the Old Navy sales and discounts.)

Another option are these (affiliate) Halogen ‘Kayla’ Pointy Toe Flats from Nordstrom.com.

The pointy toe look is great to elongate your legs but, I’m keeping it real, it may not work for everyone. Try them on with pants vs. a dress. One may look better than another, depending on your leg type.

For the most part, the pointy toe shoe looks great with everything from dresses and jeans, to shorts and crops, and will be a go-to-shoe for spring and summer!
