Name Your Tune CD for Kids

Recently, I was lucky to receive a free copy of a CD that was personalized for my son. The first moment I popped the disc into my car’s CD player, I was in love (and teary eyed). My 11 month old in the backseat went from bawling to enthralled. Wouldn’t you if you heard your name in a song?

Name Your Tune is a made-to-order personalized CD where your child will hear their name more than 80 times throughout 14 classic kid songs like Old MacDonald Had A Farm (which becomes your kid’s name had a farm), Wheels on the Bus and If You’re Happy and You Know It. Most songs are about 2 minutes long and are well sung. No third rate stuff in this CD. In fact, the people behind this company are an Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year Nominee and a Top 3 Momprenour of the Year.

At around $20, the CD is a great way to enjoy music and have fun, but frankly, it is the epitome of awesomeness to hear your child’s name in a song and have your child be engaged when they hear their name in the song lyrics. Plus, your kid’s name is not edited in either. The company has worked with some great singers and artists to have over 4000 songs with various names in their library. I also love how the The CD label can even be personalized. You can say “To Henry, With Love from Mom” or “Happy 1st Birthday Henry”.

If you are savvy, you can also get a Name Your Tune Digital package where you can download the digital files to your computer and be able to burn your own Name Your Tune CD and be able to use the digital songs on an iPod or other MP3 listening devices.

Name Your Tune is an iParenting Award winner and has received the PTPA (Parent To Parent Award) too. They have been featured in many magazines and online sites, and it is a hot celebrity item. So make it an item in your home too. Just be prepared for the Ooohs and Ahhhs.
