Girl Scouts Cookie Oven and More

One interesting fact about me is that, back in the day, I received the highest award in Girl Scouting – the Gold Award. Then, in my 20s, I became a lifetime member of the Girl Scout Association. So, beyond the hundreds of cookies and badges I have earned over the years, the Girl Scouts has a special place in my heart…and past. So I was so excited to see the Girl Scouts Cookie oven at Toy Fair.

I was excited to see that the concept of cookies has come to the everyday home. In 2015, you’ll be able to bake versions of your favorite Girl Scout cookies and, eventually, Girl Scout inspired cakes and candies, using the Girl Scout Cookie Oven.

The oven bakes almost 2x faster than the leading play oven by using a tiled heating system on the top and the bottom to bake from both sides. All you need is an outlet to make it work. There is a window so you can see what is baking, as well as tools you need to bake. The cookies bake one inch cookies and you can buy extra refill packs for about $6.99-$14.99. A percentage of the proceeds go back to the Girl Scouts to support their programing, and the oven will retail for around $59.95.

Once you bake your cookies, try to sell them using the Girl Scout Cookie stand. Or if you have a little Girl Scout, it is a perfect spot to sell the infamous bounty of cookies. There is even chalkboard so you can write your own advertising and messaging!

The stand will retail for about $79.99 and the wagon for about $139.97, and a portion of the proceeds from these products will also go to the Girl Scout organization.

Even if you don’t sell real cookies, the stand and wagon can be used for other pretend play like playing grocery shop, or transporting toys! Lots of fun potential with these three items!
