Is one of your New Year’s Resolutions going to the gym more or exercising more? Easy said than done, right? One of my motivators is some good music for working out. Nothing gets me excited for a run than knowing I have some fabulous tunes to rock to. While Eye of the Tiger and Gangham Style may be dated and overdone, there are some lesser known melodies with kick-ass potential. Here are ten to add to your playlist!
1. Chvrches – The Mother We Share (Good track to start off your training routine.)
2. Julio Bashmore – Au Seve (A cycling and running favorite.)
3. HAIM – Don’t Save Me (All around good gym pick.)
4. Ruby Goe – Badman (Another fave for cycling. Also for running.)
5. Scuba – Hardbody (All around awesome but great for elliptical users.)
6. Todd Terje – Inspector Norse (Perfect when you need to dig deep.)
7. The xx – Chained (Good for long distance runs.)
8. TNGHT – Higher Ground. (Perfect for that last burst of energy!)
9. Skrillex & Damian “Jr Gong” Marley – Make It Bun Dem (Good one for hitting the weight machines).
10. Radiohead – 15 Step (Great for the treadmill.)
What is your favorite workout track?
