I always think Mint Juleps are so classy. Perfect for late spring and early summer cocktails. There are a lot of Mint Julep recipes out there. (This site has my favorite, including a Mint Tulip option.) However, if you want a Mint Julep without alcohol, then here is a simple Mocktail Mint Julep recipe to consider.
They can be perfect for a baby shower, birthday party or just an other option for those that are the designated driver or abstaining from alcohol.
Mocktail Mint Julep Recipe
Alcohol Free Mint Julep (Serves 4)
One cup of lemonade
1/2 cup water (optional – use sparkling water instead)
1/2 cup sugar
24 mint leaves
4 cups of crushed ice (or regular cubes)
Make sure everything is chilled before making. Then mix the lemonade, water and sugar together. In a glass, place 8 mint leaves on the bottom and fill with the crushed ice. Then pour the lemonade mixture on top. Garnish with a sprig of mint if desired.

Mocktail Mint Julep with Ginger Ale (Serves 6)
1/4 cup lemon juice
One cup water
3/4 cups sugar
24 mint leaves
2 cups ice cubes or crushed ice
1 cup ginger ale (optional – Sprite or 7Up)
Lemon slices or mint for optional garnish.
Make sure everything is chilled before making. Then mix the lemonade, water, sugar and ginger ale together. In a glass, place 8 mint leaves on the bottom and fill with the crushed ice. Then pour the lemonade mixture on top. Garnish with mint if desired.
