For the past two years, I’ve been involved with Isis Parenting‘s March for Babies Team in support of the March of Dimes. This year, Isis Parenting asked me to set up a Metrowest Mamas Team and I think it will be so much fun to take this group from online to real-time.

Yes, a March for Babies Metrowest Mamas TEAM! Go us!

So here are the details:

The walk will take place on Saturday, May 12, 2012 at 12:30pm at the CDR Hatch Shell in Boston. (It is stroller, family and dog-friendly so bring the whole gang!) As a Metrowest Mamas Team member, you’ll be an Isis Parenting V.I.M (Very Important Mom) and can hang in Isis’s Moms Tent pre and post walk. Plus, you’ll get a free Team Isis t-shirt (and Metrowest Mamas sticker, of course!) It will be such fun to hang with fellow Metrowest families and Isis staff too.

But….let’s talk money.

Yes, I pledged that the Metrowest Mamas Team will raise at least $1000 for the March of Dimes. (OMG, seems like a lot, right?) But if just ten Metrowest Mamas pledged to raise $100 each, it is totally doable! Yet, I hope we will have a bigger turnout than just ten of us because, well, we rock and we can show how Mom-tabulous we are outside of Boston! Plus, Isis is giving $20 to the first 200 registered walkers on any of its teams – including Metrowest Mamas!* How awesome is that?

So I hope you’ll sign up for the Metrowest Mamas March for Babies Team here, and tell a friend or family member to sign up for the Metrowest Mamas team too. (It is always fun to walk with a best friend!) Then, follow all the fun walk-preparations on the Metrowest Mamas Facebook page or the Isis Parenting March for Babies Facebook page.

All in all, it is such a good cause in giving babies a healthy start! Hope to see you there and click here to join the Metrowest Mamas Isis Parenting Team!

(*Note: this $20 deposit will be credited to your account within one week of registering.)
