This 3-in-1 formula I discovered on Amazon last year involves moisturizing, restoring, and nourishing skin with Bulgarian Rose Oil. While the beauty cream is touted to reduce the effects of aging, such as wrinkles, sagging, age lines, and age spots, the rose scent is what I like the most about the cream.
Bulgarian Rose Oil is steam distilled from the flower petals of Rosa damascena. It is expensive to make because it’s a very time-consuming process. To make 2 pounds of Bulgarian rose oil, you need 6000 lbs to 8000 lbs of petals. However, good things come to those who wait because the resulting scent has a sweet rosy floral scent with hints of spice to balance it – with staying power to boot. It also has known toning effects on the skin.
The creme composition includes Vitamin E, Avocado Oil, and Glycerin: all of which acts as an emollient and moisturizer in a non-greasy formula that I can attest to. It is made in the USA, not tested on animals, and paraben-free. So you can have your scent and your scruples too!
Rose Linen Room Spray
This Rose Room Spray I found on Amazon last summer is amazing. One spritz in a room and it fills the entire space. Plus, I can walk into the same room in the afternoon, after spraying in the morning, and still can catch a whiff of the lingering scent. The scent of the roses is relaxing and is lusciously feminine too. Though as a family we are also partial to the lavender spray to scent pillows before bedtime.
It is 100 percent plant-based rose water in a non-aerosol formulation with pure rose absolute oil extracted from Rosa Damascena Blossoms. It is handmade in Thailand. A little goes a long way and while it is great for rooms, it is also able to be sprayed on carpets and bedding. While it is great for home, stash a scent in the car too.
